I disagree with Obama on a lot but Black folks going overboard criticizing him was a major win for right wing racists.

I blame feminism for cornering Obama into a corner and believing he had to appeal to Black men through a distorted context.
fukk that nikka he ain't got nothing in common with the average Black person. His interests aren't aligned with yours. He clearly doesn't respect Black men as he's always chastising us while using racist feminist stereotypes of us. Black people don't owe him shyt. Majority are calling out the obvious goofy shyt his wife is doing.

Look, Obama was almost a decade ago. I . We've had two different presidents since him, both them of them white males, both of them shytty. We had another white male president before him in GWB, also a disaster. I assume anyone still criticizing him at this point is a full fledged white supremacist
I think Obama still catches flaxk because he’s still in the spotlight… most other presidents do their time and go away

Obama had to tow a very thin line. The political climate he served this country in is NOTHING like what Donald Trump has to deal with. Obama was very much a victim of circumstance as much as he was in the right place at the right time.

Donald Trump has the complexion for protection and the backing of frothing racists; he can do and say whatever he wants, and the media ignores much of it. Obama HAD to be calculated, the nikka wore a tan suit and was in the media hate cycle for months for JUST that :beli:
This is it to be honest.

Anybody who's Black and hip to how things work in this country would know that when you're Black in a top leadership position, especially the position of presidency, this whole idea of “going all the way” for specifically Black people isn't going to bode well with much of this country.

If he tried to do that, he probably would've faced impeachment, and unlike Trump, who's received a bunch of meaningless impeachments, that didn't prevent him from sitting in the White House, let alone running for a second term, Obama would've faced much more discipline, if not impeached out of the White House altogether.

I believe that in a perfect world, where Black people had the edge, he would've done more and by that I mean he would've done things (that these dudes be stressing out about) that might be considered unethical or biased but that ain't the world we live in, anything or anybody going all out for Black people, especially politically speaking, will lose and fall hard, society ain't gonna allow that person to prosper.

If Obama ran for president again he’d win 70% of the vote and Florida and Ohio.

Online isn’t real life. Cacs still worship him.
:dahell: This doesn't have nothing to do with this thread. Y'all are asking for nikkas to be obedient to a public servant because hes Obama. The fact you think Obama would win any of those states post 2015 is wild.

I’m saying that whatever influence that online Black voices have exists only in that space. White people in real life aren’t affected by it and Obama still enjoys massive popularity especially amongst the white millennial demographic. So I’m disagreeing with the premise of the thread.

A new poll

EditSign

has found that over half of Americans would be likely to vote for Barack Obama if he ran for president now.

The survey, conducted by YouGov between August 9 and August 12 and released on September 30, asked 1,102 adults in the US what their favorability ratings were of 10 former U.S. Presidents, and whether they would vote for them if they ran in 2024.

Barack Obama received a 57 percent favorability rating from people polled, and 53 percent of respondents said they were either "very likely," or "somewhat likely" to vote for Obama if he ran in 2024.

However, these results are sharply split along partisan lines. Where 93 percent of Democrat respondents viewed Obama favorably, only 18 percent of Republican respondents felt the same.

That's from the first article

What does the new poll reveal about a Trump vs. Obama showdown?

The Overton Insights survey, conducted on April 2 with 1,100 registered voters, showed a clear winner—Barack Obama leads with 53% of the vote, while Donald Trump trails slightly at 47%.

The results show a nation still sharply divided but with a slight lean toward Obama, if such a race were even allowed. Though both are two-term presidents, voters haven’t forgotten either figure, and their continued popularity proves just how influential both remain on the American political stage.

No use of arguing things that can't happen anyway but those headlines are straight out of context. I mean polls showed Kamala creaming Trump on election day too and look how that turned out :francis:. We just don't live in a world where Obama would be possible today and quite frankly I don't see a centralist dem touching the WH anytime soon.
