I don't know how to respond to that, But me personally I don't believe in religion, But I do believe in God...or A God.

It's a couple things, imo.
Life on other planets is basically a mathematical certainty. Again, when we find moss on a planet other than Earth, we will have found alien life. It's not really that much of a stretch considering the size of the fuccing universe. Like other dude said, we already know that life exists, now we just need to find it on another planet.

There's over 8 BILLION Earth-like planets in our galaxy alone. Now you mean to tell me that in allll that vastness... allll that space, allll those planets, and galaxies, what have you. The idea of extraterrestrial life is ducktales? It's all about us huh

If you were a betting man, and you had to choose "Which will be discovered first? Life on other planets, or absolute irrefutable proof of God." where would you put your money.

I dont believe in Dinosaurs but these dudes come with the facts, if Dinosaurs can exist i dont think an animal like being existing on another planet is too far of a stretch.
I don't think anyone believes that aliens exist seeing how there is no proof.

Everything is math at it's most basic level.
The evidence for life elsewhere isn't based on math though. You're inferring statistics, not spatial relationships.
We think theres life elsewhere simply because we know what it takes for US to have life on this planet.
Its possible that different conditions in other parts of the universe give rise to an entirely different aspect of life that thrives on another arrangement of molecular energetics.
