Ban all religions. Christians will denounce these verses like they don't have OT verses literally asking for child sacrifices. It's obvious the top two religions just wanna finger point and cycle their Age of Misery. It's Islam's time for madness now. They'll tag team it up eventually.

Doing good and peace are two different things. In the eyes of islam "doing good" could mean shooting people who don't follow sharia

:dahell:

in Islam, good deeds are clearly outlined

for example

And they ask thee concerning the orphans. Say: ‘Promotion of their welfare is an act of great goodness. And if you intermix with them, they are your brethren. And Allah knows the mischief-maker from the reformer. And if Allah had so willed, He would have put you to hardship. Surely, Allah is Mighty, Wise.’ (Al Quran 2:21)

so what you're saying is that you pray to a god who's "all powerful", but lets these dudes besmirch the name of himself and his religion

why doesnt allah do something about isis and boko haram?

It is our responsibility to take care of this world, not rely on God's intervention. We are responsible for our fates, otherwise what would be the purpose of our autonomy? What would be the point of an afterlife if our actions are controlled or there is divine intervention every time a problem surfaces?

the easy answer is that what you're claiming is a story. it isnt real

dudes act like i go out of my way to criticize islam, when all i ever do is express my disgust at real life, tangible events that islam is part of the story

but you do....literally every single thread lol

I am also disgusted at the same events that you are mentioning. The difference between me and you is that you seek to use Islam as a scapegoat even though you KNOW this has nothing to do with Islam because you wouldn't be able to find anything in the Qur'an that supports the actions of these so-called Islamist terrorists or ISIS or whatever. If you really think you can, let's see what you got and let me refute it with the swiftness.

Now unlike you, I am able to identify the false manipulation of religion in order to further a cause of terror or subjugation. People doing things in 'the name of x religion' does not mean they represent that religion.

Let's say that there are even 200 million Muslim terrorists. What does that say about the 1.3 or so billion peaceful Muslims? A minority is always an anomaly...an exception to the rule, never the rule itself.

Actions speak far louder than words.
It's problematic when they can indeed use religious texts to justify the killing, mistreatment and dehumanizing of peoples.
Islam for the most part has too much of these incidents to be a coincidence, and the worst part is moderate Muslims don't effectively denounce this. Especially the ones in the west where they are relatively safe.
Absolutely no one cares if a book is filled with candy, sunshine and rainbows if the followers who claim to adhere to these texts are going around killing people on the promise of 72 virgins or pleasing gods.
Muslims suffer from terrorism more than western nations.
Muslims do get on a platform and speak out..you are just being ignorant!
