He trash. Name any game outside the NCST and Miami games where they played a team of equal or better talent that you came out feeling good about his chances? I remember him staring down receivers. I remember him overthrowing WRs in the Clemson game and he had people underneath and didn’t even look at him? I went to every game last year and he was borderline trash for the majority of them. Maybe if his old HC wasn’t such a fukkin idiot then he wouldn’t have been put in that position but I kinda sorta trust QBs who Bimbo names as starter. Kid played with less than 50% of the playbook and still couldn’t master the basics. fukk hoping a nikka will get better in the system. I need to see something and besides a nice deep ball, he was shyt on everything else. Stop excusing that “he’s a freshman” shyt. Here’s a freshman, Josh Rosen, and his line was worse than ours for three seasons

Our line has been way worse than UCLA. . And if you did go to every game you'd know that the team gave up later in the season. Those games were earlier in the season football fan.

But when Blackman wins don't start jocking him. Stay promoting those sorry ass white boys.

Tbh that Clemson game was the only game that had me thinking James Blackman sucked. I was very frustrated with him afterwards. But I cant go at him too hard. We know the circumstances he faced. He was dealt a tough hand. He played great against Nc State and Miami. Think about it Jimbo had this dude throwing 28 plus times in two out of his first three starts as a raw true freshman on a team that should have been a run heavy O!

I like Blackman. His 4th QTR stats were great 7 TDs, 1 INT, 167 passer rating. I think he can he be a good college level QB that can get FSU to the playoffs. If he doesn't play well this year in a very friendly QB offense. Then we can trash him, but I def am not going to judge him harshly for last season. His coach and team gave up after the Nc State loss.

Anybody going hard on Blackman just doesn't know football at all. If you remember my past posts. People can pull it up. I said why the fukk are we throwing so damn much with a kid that only been in the system for 3 months? You got a true freshman and a shytty O line that can't pass protect for shyt. If you look at any True Freshman that started in the history of the NCAA that were successful. They ALL HAD A STRONG RUNNING GAME. Coaches would ease them into the system by running the ball. Even though the opponents were weak, Blackman did better when O'Dell was HC. Why? He ran the fukking ball more.

Clemson game was frustrating, but he was going against a seasoned defense and a team coming off of winning a chip. Can't really see any true freshman playing that great.

It will be an adjustment but I can see him balling out under Willie T. The offense is somewhat similar to what he ran in High school.
