I think it has to do with the weather. you go up there its cold and cloudy all the damn time it looks like its gonna rain everyday and down here its sunny and warm most of the time. Tried living up there but its to depressing
What are you talking about, there hasn't been a cloud in the sky for damn near the entire month and it's been 60+ (72 yesterday). SF/Marin are basically the only spots in the bay where fog/cloud cover lingers relentlessly

Both locations have kinda the same the same lifestyle "warm winters, a lot of asians and Latinos, same government, a lot of people was LA got family in the Bay and vice versa, both have a lot of TX and Louisiana roots, they both love Kobe ans 2pac and ect

Sure we share similarities as the 'westcoast' but it is much different between the areas. Anyone who has spent enough time between the two areas can tell you there is a distinct difference from the way people talk, to the style of dress, all the way up.

The Bay Area generally speaking is much more liberal than Southern California is. San Francisco is packed, LA is spacious. We like different cars and music. I could go on and on.

Bay Area is great though. I wouldn't trade it in for LA/Orange County but I like it up there.
