New Yawk where I’m from / Bahston where I’m at
Octagonelogist was a weird ass album and he and Menelik were weird rappers on that. Like, they weren’t good rappers per se, (one song seems like Menelik reading out of a biology textbook nbs)…but the whole body of work / album was cohesive and good to listen. Blue flowers was basically THE song

I met him at the Fulton street mall years ago and he could barely form a sentence, not sure if drugs or mental issues or what.

EDIT plus his break beat mixes were crazy like this:

He is a pioneer. When everyone was rhyming every single word and using the same basic cadence he broke those rules but sounded dope while doing it. He is a fun emcee that raps about things some of us think about but would probably never say. He has a huge catalog and some of it is not good but the majority of his stuff is hilarious and wildly entertaining.

He is an original and extremely intelligent MC who stays current by being different.

That's all.

(If you pay attention, he's dissing EVERY 'hot' rapper in the 90's)

i know this guy got banned but like that track is particular is WILD and not just cos of the disses

that LP dropped in march 92, before wu-tang and before dr dre the chronic (dec 92), yet that song features an "izz" bar (snoop would go on to be famous for that kind of slang) AND it starts with a karate sample, and ill bet a million dollars RZA had this LP...

just saying
