Somebody explain the Galaxy A-Series to me.

I assumed these shyts were like garbage J phones, but on the real these shyts are legit.

What's the point of a getting an S-series with these as a much cheaper option for a comparable phone.

What am I missing?

A70 for like $350
A80 for like $450
S10 Plus for like $700-$750

Specs are too close to pay the premium.

I think they replaced the J series with these phones. Not bad devices in general but they generally have lower resolution screens, less ram, smaller batteries, and are missing features like wireless charging.

Id call them good grandma phones

But I decided to stop spending money on the latest phones because I break or lose them too easily.

So in America these phones are the a10 on the low end and a50 on the high end. I got an a50 and an a20. The 50 has an oled screen and screen finger sensor the lesser models have a finger sensor on the back and the a10 has neither. Very good phones, just slower than a s10 obviously but we talking milliseconds at this point. These mid tier phones was introduced about a year ago. They currently not compatible with Samsung vr, the a50 model allows you to make living emotes. That's about it, you want the a50 if you making the splurge imo

I guess but there isn't 10 different models. I think one carries a90 os anothers a50. There's an a 80 that's out overseas and the camera pops up via a motor sprint has a10, 20, 50 for instance...

I've read the a series is basically there experimental models where they bring out features to test out before bringing them to the s series.

It’s kinda like when you sit in a fully maxed out Honda Accord..,you see the plush leather, soft-touch dash, the 10’’ center console screen, digital gauges and think “I don’t see why anyone would buy a luxury car with Honda stepping it up like this”.

....theeeeeeeeen you go sit in a Lexus and the shyt blows the Honda out the water and you’re like “ok I get why people still buy luxury cars”.
