Try apple cider vinegar. Mix 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with 1/4 cup water of course use more if you need to. Put it into a spray bottle and spray it on your hair and scalp, put a towel or a shower cap on your head and leave it on for like 30 minutes then wash your hair.

It works. You can google it yourself.

Change your brush, moron.

Edit: You're just a dirty nikka, breh. No black man who keeps ther hair cut low/gets cut regularly should have dandruff like that. I've seen dirty nikkas(usually teens) finish their hair and have powder like dandruff on their heads. shyt would have the whole barber shop like :mindblown: :scusthov:

My shyt is tragic. None of these shampoos people have recommended me work. I need some good dandruff shampoo for black hair. My shyt was just washed a good 4 hours ago, and when I brush my hair shyts like snow flurries. :snoop:
are you a black male?

Read the label of your shampoos.

if it says SLS or sodium lauryl sulfates then try and stay away.

SLS is basically a detergent. (not sure what your chemistry background is)

It strips the scalp and hair of all moisture and doesn't replenish it.

Even further, black males wash their hair too often. Whites tend to have hair that naturally produces more oil and more consistently.

You need to focus more on moisturization and shampoos that don't have detergent agents in them.

1. Look for SLS -free shampoo's. They're kinda hard so do your research online. I saw a few at whole foods. They're not even that common at black hair care stores.

2. start moisturizing. I like tea-tree oil stuff. It seems to keep my scalp from feeling dry all day and helps retain some of that skin that sheds

3. shampoo way less frequently. I'm talking 2-3 times a week MAX. Wash your head if needed, but no need to apply soaps or shampoos all the time.

Natural Remedies for Dandruff

Apple Cider Vinegar
A home remedy for dandruff is to mix 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar with 1/4 cup water. Pour this mixture into a spray bottle and spritz it on to your hair and scalp, being careful to avoid the eye and ear area. Wrap your head in a towel. After 15 minutes to an hour, remove the towel and wash your hair. This is generally done once to twice a week.
