Old Harlem tales: My mother told me that Diddy moms used to throw fashion shows out of a family friend's apt, I believe this was after they moved out. The building had such good clientele, plus, she already had relationships there.

Tbf, absolutely nothing happens on my current block (in Bk). Literal crickets. I be telling my man he brought me to the damn suburbs. We have cardinals and seagulls in the yard, I didn't even know that was possible in the city. And weird country type bugs.

But we still be hearing shots. After enough time in the city, you can gauge exactly how many blocks away and in which direction. In Harlem, I can guess down to the exact street and avenue.
