He should come in, have a big program with Cena and/or Brock and then be used after that to help put over the Punk/DB/ADR/Cesaro/Sheamus/Ziggler/Shield types even more. It seems like he's been gone forever, so it'll be weird to see him if he really does ever come back. A whole new generation has popped up since he left.

He needs to use whatever time & star-power he has left to be used in a Jericho capacity but with his own ego and the fact that he's friends with HHH, I don't see that happening as long as he bulks up close to what he used to look like.

The Rock came back to fill in the need for star power and to put asses in seats.

Batista was never anywhere near the level of the rock from a talent or draw perspective, and we already have Mark Henry and Brock Lesnar for the "monster heel" role. There's really no reason for him to come back lol.


He couldn't even stay healthy back then. How is he going to do it now?

Is it going to be #StruggleDave when he comes back and puts on 2 star classics while cutting boring "I'm a big tough guy rawrrr!" promos as a face/heel? It's going to be when ya'll turn on him.

I'll be the first to admit The Rock's return wasn't anything great, but even out of his prime he still gave us some good promos, a decent feud with Punk and some decnet moments with Cena too. All while balancing a demanding movie schedule.

I'd love to see what Batista does when he returns.

Aint no such thing as too many Monster Heels breh, plenty of young talent to squash. I hope Miz and Sheam got them pain killers on deck. Trilltista just needs to do powermoves, cut intense heel promos and beat up Mizanin. Dwayne on the otherhand couldn't even lace up his boots without taking a break between loops. While i'm against adding new members to the Shield I wouldn't mind if DC Dave ran amuck with them. :shake:

I would be surprised if he moved around like he used to. It took a LONG time to get Batista to the level he was in the ring at WM 23.

It sounds weird being happy about the idea of a guy in his mid 40's not only taking time away from, but burying young and promising talent. Seeing Daniel Bryan, Fandango, The Shield and Antonio Cesaro get squashed by Batista EXCITES you? Why?

Why is Batista squashing Sheamus dope to you? Sheamus is actually a really good wrestler who has given us plenty of good matches. The guy got a near classic out of THE BIG SHOW. His current face gimmick fukking SUCKS, but he's one heel turn away from being another monster heel who can convincingly body people. But instead of that we want 8 to 10 appearances from Batista? Then what? What happens when Batista, Brock, Rock, Triple H, and Undertaker finally walk away for good?

This narrow sightedness is why the company is going to be in trouble very soon unless they start respecting their younger talent with good booking, interesting gimmicks and some time to shine.

Sheamus isn't turning heel anytime soon. For whatever reason the E wants him as a face.


We've heard samples of some of these guys. Ziggler is decent on the mic as a sarcastic, smarmy heel. As a face though he would be Kufi sucks on the mic, Miz sucks on the mic. Del Rio sucks on the mic too, Ricardo and the Si Si Si thing makes him likeable though. Cesaro and D-Bry are gold though. Fandango is amazing on a ridiculous level. The young guys get chances, these old part timers are just here to keep the hardcore fans happy. The parents in the crowd gotta entertained too breh.
