It's crazy, I was a fan of the Zack Ryder movement and I thought his youtube show with his dad and the Big O was pretty decent. With that being said I knew they would never do anything long term with him but still they didn't have to do Zack dirty with the friendzoning and literally being tossed in the bushes on live tv.
Looking back the fact that he had high level nikkas like The Rock cosigning him publicly should have earn Zack an Intercontinental Title run at least.

I was disgusted cause the guy truly got himself over on his own only get thrown to the bushes for no good reason. I couldve seen him as a solid upper midcarder with a main event appearance here and there.

Im not saying they shouldve made him the face of the WWE or anything. Im just saying he couldve been elevated to be a credible baby face to top heels like he could put up a strong fight but ultimately lose in the fued. This couldve been done when a new feud was needed to fill slots on the B/C level pay per views
They put emphasis on moving merch, well Zack Ryder was doing it. He could be in a fatal 4 way main event every once ina while all that wouldve had to happen is a adjustment to his character.

Iwc cracks me up, its always extremes with them. No one was saying Zack should have been the face of the company or heavy weight champion. But he was over and over without the help of the company. Most of the guys on the roster can't get over and that's with the help of the office. And he was moving merchandise. He could have been a glorified face jobber that pulls off the occasional win, the occasional transitional inc/us/tag run. No one is saying make him the face of the company. They did him dirty and it sends a shytty message to the rest of the locker room, if the office isn't behind you, don't even try.
