I've managed to teach people Music Macro Languages, but I think learning the stuff people are hiring for would take a moment. There's a lotta stuff to take in, but I think if you're obsessive enough you can learn enough to do some interviews or code tests. How are you at math?

What if I have an idea for an app/website or 2 or 3, but don't find it smart to try and become a super coder.

How would one go about having someone else work on an app for them, without that person just taking the idea and running with it, and just changing a letter to make it seem like a different product. I assume you would create a contract where you either pay that person or offer them a percentage share of the app's worth correct?

I guess my question is....how do you protect your app/website from copycats or someone literally stealing your idea? Is it copyright (probably not)? Patent? Or is purchasing the hullapp/website domain name the only real protection you have??

I feel like someone is going to tell me to answer my question there is an app for that...:patrice:

You can't stop anybody from stealing your app idea after it's out on the market.

If your idea is good enough theoretically Facebook or Google could make a clone of your app over the weekend.

The only thing that would give you leverage is dedicated users not jumping to another product.
