You don’t shoot to subdue you shoot stop the threat period. Aim center mass and go to fukkin work, I would hate for that situation to happen but it is what it is. That’s what what I was taught in my fire arm license class. As a matter fact I asked a similar question should I shoot them in the leg the officer said NO! If your going to shoot you shoot to kill. Shooting a lim is incredibly hard to do in a stressful situation like that. As long as you are fearing for your life it’s whatever and if a dude is in my castle I am fearing for my life and I am reloading mags on him to I know for sure he’s not moving.

Sounds good.
