My school had 3300 and we were 5A (Texas)But yea, it's just a classification system to keep the playing field equal. The 5A schools are usually the best bc they have a larger student body to choose from.

damn near now that I think about it when you add it all up: 3 freshmen teams, 2 jv squads, and then a full varsity squad.And shyt.... we were only the 4th biggest school in the conference. 2 schools had 4000 +
