Can someone help me understand what prostesting does in this day and age? I mean honestly. I'm pissed the Trump won but I don't understand the protest lately. I really think we need to do something else. To much of something will fall on death ears. Innocent blk males getting murdered on tv and we protest for a day or two and go back to our lives and the sane thing happens again. We need some real ideas that's going to make a difference. This is where the absence of Tupac, Huey newton, Malcom X really hurts. Maybe it needs to be me or you but we need some new ideas new strong leaders and start a movement.

Protest can do a lot. People need to stop thinking protest is just yelling. Trump being elected was an example of protest.

True but it's more whites to get that protest heard then minorites. Second I don't see it's different when u can vote and just walking down the street holding hands for a day or two. It's not long enough to make a difference

Unless it affects where money goes, it's typically just for your own sanity.
