Someone's GOAT (NOT MINE) got whooped in a first round series after getting gifted a top 5 player in the league

Is Bron getting another ring as a 1st or 2nd option?

So Lebron constructed a roster that forces him to play center at 40 years old? :dahell:

And Kobe refused to play in Charlotte and manipulated his way to the biggest market (who was on the verge of signing the best player in the league) before he even played a single game :mjlol:

He got drafted before Shaq got there and won 2 without him which is more than fat ass Shaq won without him.

Shaq was fukking trash that series :laff: the only game we won was cuz of Kobe dumbass
38% from the field and 17% from 3. too bad he couldn't pass the ball.

Kobe Bryant took 113 shots in the 2004 Finals to lead all players and averaged 22 points on 38% FG. Shaq took 84 shots and averaged 26 points on 63% FG

cool and he also won a 3 peat with Shaq and 2 more with Pau. No missed playoffs with HOFs, no losing in the first round with HOFs, no forcing trades for certain players and hype tweets and then pretending later you didn't want it. No building superteams, claiming ur gonna win 7 straight only to avg 17pts in the Finals.

but go ahead with the act breh, we all know it's just one big campaign.

Lebron's not a guard so why would he defend guards?

It's a myth Jordan and especially Kobe were playing any more defense than Bron in their late 30s. Just nostalgia coated BS.

My point is if he were shorter and wasn’t able to move to defending primarily PF’s as he got older, his body wouldn’t have held up like it has. Defending guards and small forwards every night is objectively harder for older players.

He absolutely was especially the second three peat. They were the best team in the league by far. So much so that the Bulls were winning 50 plus without him before he came back. Look at his team He along with Pip and Rodman are top 75 players. Kukoc their sixth man is a HOFamer. No other team historically had that collection of talent. The Knicks had one top 75 player, Indiana 1. Utah had 2. No one wins without HOF level talent around them. Kobe had fukking prime Shaq for what 7 seasons lol. Come on bro

LMAO

THE 95 BULLS WERE BARELY
OVER 500 WHEN PIP
WAS PUBLICLY BEGGING MJ TO COME BACK.

Bron stans dont decide who is Top 2. The general public does.

He's not that guy.

Most insecure standards in sports history.

Just be fine with top 5 and move on, unless he plays another 8 years

:lolbron:
So while our (anonymous) NBA player poll was released Monday, with a record 142 players weighing in on some of the most interesting questions surrounding their league, we decided to dive even deeper into the age-old GOAT discussion because there’s a fascinating voting trend that simply must be explored.

While Michael Jordan won the “Greatest of All Time” category for the third consecutive time, his once-massive lead over LeBron James has shrunk significantly with every passing poll. This time around, James almost took the mantle. The data speaks loud and clear…

  • 2019 (the first time The Athleticconducted the poll): Jordan earned 73 percent of the votes, with James second at 11.9 percent (a gap of 61.1 percentage points)
  • 2023: Jordan earned 58.3 percent of the votes, with James second at 33 percent (a gap of 25.3 percent)
  • 2024: Jordan earned 45.9 percent of the votes, with James second at 42.1 percent (a gap of just 3.8 percent)

1998 was a long time ago. :lolbron:

Let’s be honest

Kobe isn’t involved in the GOAT debate stuff. This would hit harder if you were an MJ Stan, but honestly this mostly just feels sad

Bron fans respect Kobe fans.

Yall are like the mentally slow kids down the street we feel obligated to be nice to

YET WE CONSTANTLY HEAR FORMER NBA PLAYERS SAYIN THE EXACT OPPOSITE

QUESTIONING WHY LEBRON IS SHOEHORNED IN THE GOAT DEBATE BY THE MEDIA WHEN IT SHOULD BE KOBE

AND THAT NARRATIVE HAS EXPLODED WITH FORMER PLAYERS HAVING PODCASTS NOW

SO NAAH, YOUR KLUTCH MARKETING TALKING POINTS NO LONGER APPLY YOUNG'N

Lakeshow in shambles.
Giddy as hell that they lost.

I don’t even know how those people look at themselves in the mirror.

PRETTY SURE WERE ALL DEPRESSED BECAUSE HE RUINED LAKER BASKETBALL FOR US

JUST ANXIOUSLY WAITING FOR HIM TO RETIRE
