On the initial read I figured it was just him not being able to cope (yet) with life after wrestling. Being thrown into all these appearances so soon must be a pretty hard pill to swallow, especially when surrounded by fans who probably make it even worse.
But the way they are quickly removing him from all these events (as opposed to them just waiting it out and cancelling them as the events approach) makes me think it is for sure 1. contract related due to him not wanting to officially retire or 2. unfortunately something deeper ie: family related. Really hoping it's the former.
The fact both parties are so mum about it is unsettling. Even double-talk Dave has nothing

i been away to long, my feeling died.
I think it's health related , after Lana attacked Brie I thought it was going to a one on one feud but now that brought other divas into it I'm thinking it's something else. If Brie is kayfabe injured on Monday and replaced by Bayley then I'm sure it's his health. I think he must have tried pushing it one last time suffered a setback .
