The lack of gatekeeping is one that slices both ways as it created so many new lanes and freed ways of expression. Thing is the gems are drowned out as their signal doesn't compare to all the noise so unless you know they might as well not exist. Just look at how derivative entertainment is in terms of tent pole releases and endless sequels as no more DVD/Blu Ray reup equals less capital to risk on potential cult classics like the 80s and 90s had on deck.
Another one is people have been sold, hook line and sink, on totally unrealistic expectations of everything which makes some grind and level up to accomplish more than they'd ever have without this motivation to get ahead and compete on a global scale but it also ramped up entitlement for those who will get a rude awakening when its cat lady status (or sex robots for the fellas). Personal relationships on the whole have been immensely devalued as its all "Me, me, me" in full effect.
