Isn't it counterintuitive to make that many threads at once?

Most times you're going to see what's getting engagement on the first page but if you're making that many threads then there's no way people can get engaged with a topic. If threads are getting pushed to page 2 or 3 then no one is going to see it.

This. It’s like google, people don’t look past the first page. But back when the board was more active, the spam got pushed down relatively quickly, but now with fewer posters, it sits and can def make for a “scan and leave” situation
