Something tells me that Online Multiplayer on the XBOX won't require gold in a few months

I am pretty sure most of you know this already, but XBOX Live is coming to the PC and online multiplayer is going to be free.

Apparently this has pissed off many xbox owners and with the way Microsoft has been bending with everything the console crowd wants...maybe an E3 anouncement dropping the gold requirement for online multiplayer is next?

Leave it as Sony did with the PS3, free online multiplayer, but XBOX Live Gold for discounts, free games, free themes, etc etc. Sony will have to follow shortly after that and drop the PS+ requirement for online multi on the PS4.

Why would Sony have to follow? MS was doing well on the 360 when you had to pay for online and ps3 didnt.

Why does Sony need to react when they're winning? They haven't had a price cut yet. Free multiplayer isn't much considering it was like that last generation and 360 was still winning.

And the only reason they changing their tune on PC is because of that Windows Live debacle and Steam.

Xbox Live is free money to them, but should have never be a pay service from the jump. Because of that bullshyt, we have to pay for online multi on the PS4. Still PS Plus >>>>>>>>> Live due to the benefits you get gaming wise.

Why would Xbox Live cost anything on PC? Consoles are a closed box environment where the manufacturers dictate the terms they're used PCs are open. Charging for online multiplayer when it isn't an MMO game wouldn't fly with the PC crowd.
