This is a personal rant, I decided to go grab some food to bring to the fam from this dope food joint in my area since they live 45 minutes away they never had a chance to try it. I go on yelp to check the schedule it says they open at noon, I call to see if they're open since today it's a holiday, the guy tells me they will be open at 2, I call at 2 to place a pick up order they tell me they don't have no chicken :martin: they will have it ready in an hour, I show up to grab my order they tell me it's going to take another 20 minutes :what: when I called to place my order they took my number they didn't even call to say there would be a delay :beli:

Stop putting expectations on black businesses that you don't on other businesses ran by other races. There are very few restaurants if any that will call you personally and tell you that they are running behind on making your food. I have made reservations to upscale restaurants and got there only to not have my table ready, they didn't call me and tell me that it would take some extra time to have my table ready.

Why do you have to generalize all black businesses just because you had a bad experience with one particular black business:beli:

I'm willing to bet that you've had far more issues with white owned companies in your life than you've had from black businesses.

You're kinda soft shoe tapping right now :mjpls:

Consider yourself lucky an HVAC breh got me for $1200. I take full responsibility tho. I should have shopped around. I ended going to a commercial HVAC company. Couldn't afford another L.

What should happen in cases like this is the person with the complaint should make the owners aware of the situation and recommend how they could have handled it better, in this case, the OP would have been fine with a call regarding the delay.

Instead, there's a thread made on the coli and the owner of the restaurant does not get to see the complaints made here.

When you go to a Black business and receive sub par service, LET THEM KNOW IMMEDIATELY and recommend how they can do better.
