It is sometimes. Some of them are not professional, open up whenever the fukk they feel like it and have poor service. You try to support them but it ends up being a headache sometimes and you end up patronizing the cacs instead.

nikkas in here aren't saying you guys aren't entitled to your opinion about black owned businesses. We're saying why do you have to go online or anywhere else to announce it? What other group does this? And yes we notice that you people never openly generalize anyone else the same way. Y'all nikkas can't help it I guess. You just gotta come on The Coli, KanyeToThe, Twitter, or FB, etc and openly talk about how subpar black businesses are compared to non black businesses if you feel that way fine but going around repeating it on social media platforms, forums, etc does make you look like a c00n because it's unnecessary

This is a personal rant, I decided to go grab some food to bring to the fam from this dope food joint in my area since they live 45 minutes away they never had a chance to try it. I go on yelp to check the schedule it says they open at noon, I call to see if they're open since today it's a holiday, the guy tells me they will be open at 2, I call at 2 to place a pick up order they tell me they don't have no chicken they will have it ready in an hour, I show up to grab my order they tell me it's going to take another 20 minutes when I called to place my order they took my number they didn't even call to say there would be a delay

Thanks for the review. I agree with you about this. I think people need to start complaining to the managers of these places about customer service and waiting times. Something has to change. Kudos for trying to support a black business today though.

Nobody's even saying OP has to go to black owned businesses. That's a personal choice. They're saying, is it too much to ask that you not come online or anywhere else generalizing them so much? He and everyone else can eat wherever they want to, nobody HAS to support black businesses at all if they don't want to, but going around generalizing them is unnecessary. Just don't go to certain ones, or any of them at all if that's how he feels. That can be done without generalizing.

I needed a new typewriter so I hit a black business called California Typewriter in Berkeley. The Customer service was excellence.
