I think the biggest problem is our funniest comedians don't do sitcoms...hell black comedy in general is ehh these days.

Church. My issue with black comedies are the c00n factors. Now make no mistake c00ns are a part of reality but the actors who portrays em are bad. JJ from good times was authentic. Hemel was authentic and funny. Renaldo waldo faldo was funny. Those cats on them Tyler Perry joints just have funny moments. Another thing is the generic production. I swear niccas have the worst laugh tracks in history. sets look like plays. I want Shonda rhimes to do a "black" show. She's dope

I don't watch TV..but when I was young, the Cosby show, different world, and 227, were really excellent shows..I remember when bobby brown came on 227 I was hella juiced..but yeah..black shows are pretty bad these days..never watched the Wayne brothers, or any of that bullshyt..but it's not as bad as black movies..they need better directors..spike lee is pretty wack..and that's all we got..smh

Wayans Bros was a good show with classic hip hop interpolations every episode..Electric Relaxation was one of the illest intros to any black show...what I think dude is talkin bout is black shows NOW...there was alotta quality black shows up until the late 90's...only great black shows in the 2000s I can think of is Everybody Hates Chris and My Wife And Kids...

With that said, the best shows of the old generations certainly shyt on the best 'shows' of this generation and yeah, there's something boring when every black 'show' on television has a bunch of pretty black women in expensive fashion, drinking expensive wine, talking about relationships. When did everybody get so damn rich? There's nothing wrong with it, but when it's all you see, it gets creatively stagnant. 'Girlfriends' was the first show to do that and every other 'financial well-off black people with relationship problems' show (or movie) to come out since has been following that show's footsteps. It's just boring.

And when was the last show marketed to black men? Chappelle's Show? It's all been relationship shyt marketed to females since Dave turned down that 50 million...

I don't know when you posted this but I said pretty much the same thing to my ol lady last.

I'm a 90s dude, but got damn Homeboys From Outer Space was the worst show in the history of television. How the fukk did dude put that up there?

Speaking on the rest, black shows these days are so damn terrible it's embarrassing. House of Payne, Are We There Yet, those two sitcoms that come on BET, that Rickey Smiley show on TV1, Meet the Browns, and more all suck.

We grew up in the GOAT era for shows. Martin (the GOAT show), Fresh Prince (2nd GOAT show), Cosby Show, A Different World, Waynes Bros., Steve Harvey Show, Jamie Foxx Show, Living Single, and Roc are better than every show out right now. Everybody Hates Chris was the last good black show. Damn shame.

Nothing as usual just complaining waiting for the next fix so they can spend thier money instead of selling the and getting paid. With all these complaints which for,the most part I even agree with they just blah, blah, blah, but don't see this as an opening to make up something better and get paid. I also think people forget you might not like these shows bit somebody does or else the ones that are staying on wouldn't be on. Maybe that is cause of lack of good shows but be that as it may they still on cause people watching them.

I liked that being Mary Jane show though last night and whoever said the game is falling off I agree. Unfortunately BET messed it up and with no Melanie and Derwin didn't think it would mess the show up like that.

I never been a regular viewer of the Game but I caught it last night and I saw the episode before lasts nights the day before. That dude Blue (?) is terrible. Every line sounds like he's reading or acting. Not believable at all. And thats the problem with most of the black shows. Damn near everybody on Single Ladies gives the same quality of acting as Blue. Especially the white chick. She aint even that fine to be so terrible. If you gonna stick a token white chick in there, I mean damn find one that can act! That bytch be like " Oh no! I am late for my mee-ting at Powerhouse Records with big time record producer, D-Money! " Who in the fukk talks like that?? What ever the name of that show about the dance team is another show where EVERYBODY sucks. I couldnt watch an entire episode but it was painful to watch homegirl from Set It Off tryna act opposite her wack ass co-stars. Saw my man Bo Duke from Dukes of Hazzard tryna act opposite to some wooden ass dude on Tyler Perry show, Have and Have Nots. He wasn't giving Bo shyt to work with. Dude was giving a Nas in Belly-esque performance and made Bo look like a true thespian.

This makes very little sense to me becuz I'm in no position to do anything about it. I'm simply s viewer with an opinion abs I have two choices.
1. I could either like it and talk about how much I enjoy these shows.

2. I can not like it and be critical.
