Hov had the best verse hands down period. X had the weakest and when he said "Plus it's all gravy like chicken when it's smothered" i was like

that song is ASS. arguably one of the worst and boring songs from that album. that second album is actually pretty bad to be honest if you exclude the singles, the intro, and two album cuts.

Typical X would've wrecked that shyt. He came weak

But everyone else went crazy. Jadakiss got Rhyme of the Month but I thought Jay had the best verse

nikkas Done Started Somethin was overall better to me but this shyt was heat rocks...

you could see that X was about to decline from this track, less than a year before he had damn near the best verse on the posse cut on IDAHIH, a posse cut less than a year later with almost the same people (minus Mase, add Jigga) and he had the most uninspired average verse on the track.


dope track, I always skip to the next track after Jay's verse.

It wasnt about him being on the decline cause he bodied the album rap wise..and bodied guest verses after this...everyone has weak verse here n there..

I like X's verse, wasn't lyrically top notch but the energy and delivery was there . Plus the shock value of "it be the one u forgotten about that get u shot in your mouth"
