Each decade of rap has its own style, flavor, and just overall aura about it that appeals to different ppl.

Whether it be the GOAT era of the 2000s (more specifically early 2000s) with rap city, the 5x jerseys, durags, air forces and wristbands to match :wow:

Or the 80s with the beatbox, break dancing, and graffiti; all the decades since the inception of hip hop has its own individuality that ppl remember and adore about it.

So, if you had to choose three songs from each decade to sum that decade up in a nutshell what would they be? It doesn't even have to be just from a purely musical standpoint, preferably it'll sum all aspects of the decade up. From the trends, to the lingo, to the fashion, etc. etc.

RULES: #1 Forget all the semantics about the fiscal year and quarters and all that shyt, if the song dropped in '89 it represents the 80s.
#2 fukk the 70s and that wack ass era of struggle bars, them nikkas excluded.
#3 If you choose this decade ('10) just post the songs thus far that sum it up, no need to get anal about the decade not being over yet.

Have at it brehs! :blessed::blessed::blessed:

And oh yeah as for me: 2010s
From the tats on down, this gen gives no fukks.
Social media, nuff said.
:whew:the way these nikkas changed the landscape of music with the flow.
