On paper an open world Sonic game sounds amazing. I always wanted an open world type sonic game since the old Sonic CD opening.
Again this is Sega I don't have any faith in them unless it's a Yakuza game.

Not really 06 is like Sonic Adventure.
You had like 5 or so hub stations that you do mini games and go to the zone in that hub. Which is basically how most jrpgs are setup.
Im talkin bout like an actual open world where your just in just one big sonic level with different objectives to do like most open world games.

I feel like if they don't have a long thorough dev cycle to let this cook, it'll come out half assed.
We've only known about this game for like 6 months and it's already dropping next year.

Doubt it's been in the works since Forces, and if it was 2019, that wouldnt be enough time. I mean this is Sonic we're talking about, they are known to drop shyt half baked
