I'm finding all this talk of 'grinding' kind of funny. Did any of you actually play the previous Forza games? The fact that they even included money in them was pointless, because you had so much of it and so many free cars it took away from the sense of accomplishment - you could always afford any car you wanted (if you didn't get it for free first!). Even upgrades in previous forza games were 100% free after only a couple races with any car brand.
Forza 5 actually makes you work for your cars, which I am really enjoying. And it's not grindy at all. I'm only level 2 and I've received 2 cars for free already and I've bought and upgraded one of my favorite cars already with plenty of money to spare.
Grind? Really? It's not even close.
From the OP in that thread:
& see, he has no reason to lie like you meach, he's no Xbox Stan. Just a disappointed gamer.
And you ignore the countless other posts in that thread saying that's not the caseThat's all the same FUD that they are saying about GT6 before its even released. I'd bet a great majority of those people have not played Forza 5 or they are not familiar with past games in the series.
The grind is what the game is all about. That's always been what it's about. You've always had to put in significant time in order to buy the expensive cars. I put in over 20 hours before I could afford a Bugatti in Forza 4.
The only differnce is that you don't get free cars, but that is balanced out by the fact that your drivatar is always making money.
don't try and make up excuses for people not sharing your opinionDon't get me wrong I get plenty of money because I play it on realistic settings (except I don't use clutch), so I get decent money...Also I have good cars like the Ford GT,Corvette, etc but it's not like Forza 4 where you had a shytload of cars and made way more money.
Ye this game is obviously a big step back from other forza games, no doubt about it. I mean you get nothing for completing every race in a series even, what's the point.
It's not fun anymore. The game looks great and it plays well. But the obvious attempt to monetize the game has reached a tipping point for me. I can't support Turn 10 or the Forza franchise like this.
I loved forza 2/3/4 n was sooo lookin forward to this one, was weighing up whether to get this or nfs rivals n chose forza, but disappointed in it so far, just so little variety, forza 4 was amazing, winning new cars every level etc, but they seem to have not bothered their arse with making forza 5 bigger n better.
Not saying Forza 4 was the perfect system....but Forza 5 grinding system needs to be improved by a lot [/QUOTE] lol
Clearly people will have their own opinion about everything in existence. I'm saying quite a LOT of people are complaining. Enough to show there may be a problem with the grinding system. And you ignore the countless other posts in that thread saying that's not the case

& countless other posts? it's like a 9 to 1 ratio of people disliking the system to liking it in that thread. I counted.![]()
and quite a lot of people are making the same claims about GT6
Lmao you're so hurtand quite a lot of people are making the same claims about GT6
Maybe you should come up with your own opinions instead of scouring the net for other people's negative misinformed opinions![]()
sit the fukk down & accept that a good portion of Forza 5 players think the grind is bullshyt & an attempt at a money grab. You right Though. fukk micro transactions in generalYou mofos are so caught up in this petty console war that some of you are actually defending this garbage. You shouldn't have to pay for content you have already paid for. It's offensive that they're charging you 80% of the full retail cost of the game just to unlock one fukking car. Then they have the balls to call it "micro" transactions. This is bullshyt through and though. The prices are fukking offensive. The fukk happened to $0.99/$1.99/$3.99??? Why should I play $49 to have access to content that I've aleady paid $60 for?
This isn't a Forza vs. GT thing. It's just bullshyt.
Lmao you're so hurt
Everyones opinion is misinformed if it's not yours huhsit the fukk down & accept that a good portion of Forza 5 players think the grind is bullshyt & an attempt at a money grab.

I browse kotaku, those Xbox articles sit at it's front page, I don't look for shytHurt about what? You're the one spending all day looking for and posting negative news about a product you claim you don't want.![]()

basically, they make gamers look bad. i'm embarrassed to be a gamer reading that bsNever said I was above nonsense.
But that site is straight Fox News status. Nothing but FUD and hyperbole, everybody is always angry. There's always some type of conspiracy to hurt the people.
It's like those dudes don't even like gaming. Literaly EVERYTHING is a problem to them.
yea this is my issue with both games, instead of having a small "micro" transaction to unlock cars in the game they're charing us 100+ for one fukking carYou mofos are so caught up in this petty console war that some of you are actually defending this garbage.
