They are really big in Japan. For example , Japanese producers were still making PSP games when the PS4 came out. Long after the west forgot

For me it would be PERFECT because my child hogs the damn tv sometimes so playing my PS4 games on my Vita is a great compromise. I’ve always preferred handheld gaming anyway so it doesn’t bother me and the reason I haven’t purchased a PS5 is because they don’t allow remote play to the Vita (which is dumb as fukk)

So with this new handheld i’d be able to actually enjoy PS5 games while my kid can watch Bluey or Ryan’s World.


You’re right in the fact that it should have its own dedicated games too. Even if their just digital only games it would make a world of difference. They don’t even need first party triple A games just give me SOMETHING.

The Switch and Switch Lite, alongside the Steam Deck have proven there’s still a market for handhelds. Hell I still see plenty of people with DS’s out and about
