Have you played Nioh? Combat isn't slow at all and I play Ninja Gaiden on Master Ninja.
It's actually pretty damn fast especially with the ki burst mechanic. It's not Ninja Gaiden fast but with the variety of stances, ki management, weapon choice, and stamina management..it feels just as hectic as chaining multiple UTs with the On-Land Charge (shyt that gave you like instant essence).
