Yea I didnt think about the financing options for phones:ehh:

I just want a REAL NEXT GEN experience, I don't mind paying a premium to ensure that happens. I dont think they can pull it off for less than $500 but we'll see

You will never get that unless you go PC.

This shyt having Ray Tracing is a system seller in itself. This is the goal that Microsoft should shoot towards when they develop another xbox.

I think it's gonna be at least $499. Ray-tracing tech is not cheap. I don't care if AMD is making it in bulk. Sony is probably prepared to sell this as a premium console until they can get price down. This isn't 2006 anymore. If people want top of the line tech in these consoles and they want it at release, they need to be willing to be willing to pay a premium. The PS4 is a cheaper option until they can afford it. Same as with the Xbox and their lineup.

Sony stands are amazing.

"Back compat doesn't matter.":scust:

Ps4 won already, back compat!":blessed:

ps4 actually has a game library to justify backwards compat, if the next Xbox has backwards compat, what are you going to play Ryse lmao

I sold my ps4 pro since my gaming pc is to so much better, but there are some exclusives on ps4 they didn't come out yet and I can wait for the ps5 instead buying a pro again when they come out

I wouldn't say they won just yet. It's going to comedown to ecosystem, services and games

Hardware will probably be similar between both consoles since AMD is supplying them

I like what in hearing tho. New cpu will be a God send.
They have all those :dahell:

The most important thing for them is price. Don’t fukk up like ps3 and it’s a wrap. There’s nothing Microsoft can do if Sony nails the price.

AMD is going to give a speech on May 27th that might give us information on their Navi gpus. I don't expect the PS5 one to be there but I'll give us an idea.

I don't know how they expect to get 4k resolution with 60 fps and ray tracing but if they can :wow:

For anybody who's interested in the techy side of things, i saw this unreal engine demo released on youtube. it's a good representation of what we can expect for graphics on PS5 as this demo is done on a 1080ti graphics card and the PS5's graphics card is reported to be stronger.

:whoo: shyt gonna look fukkin' crazy a few years into next gen.

Stands reasonable to think that the next gen xbox and ps5 will have similar hardware. It will come down to who executes it better. And given Microsofts software woes, they will still be in last place.

MS bought 6 to 10 studios, they are all working on exclusives. All likely waiting for the next Xbox. I don't see a repeat of this gen on that front. With some luck, they will be front loaded with new shyt.

:blessed: Backwards compatibility matters again!

:mjlol:

What took 15 seconds now takes less than one: 0.8 seconds, to be exact.

That’s just one consequence of an SSD. There’s also the speed with which a world can be rendered, and thus the speed with which a character can move through that world. Cerny runs a similar two-console demonstration, this time with the camera moving up one of Midtown’s avenues. On the original PS4, the camera moves at about the speed Spidey hits while web-slinging. “No matter how powered up you get as Spider-Man, you can never go any faster than this,” Cerny says, “because that's simply how fast we can get the data off the hard drive.” On the next-gen console, the camera speeds uptown like it’s mounted to a fighter jet. Periodically, Cerny pauses the action to prove that the surrounding environment remains perfectly crisp. (While the next-gen console will support 8K graphics, TVs that deliver it are few and far between, so we’re using a 4K TV.)

*Smack voice* ohhhh shyt:whoo:
