From the previews I seen, it didn't look very polished, especially for a game coming at the end of a console generation.

That wait... It didn't get discount till the expansion dropped.. I think I had to wait a year for the GOTY edition. Better than Nintendo...

This is the first PS4 game from a proven developer whose talent over the past decade and a half has been spent developing for handheld devices. That their first next-gen title would come with its fair share of problems, as they gained their footing on a new and far more advanced platform, was an inevitability that I'm sure Bend and even Sony anticipated. The very flaws that have been panned are mostly of a technical nature that the game's same day patch has corrected, making many of these reviews moot. Presently sitting at 72 on Metacritic, with a majority of reviews giving it a thumbs up, its critical reception is far more positive than recent releases like Crackdown 3 and Anthem.
