Meach again is full of poo poo. Game looks good but UE5 visually looks way better. Cyberpunk still looks like a great looking current gen game. Lighting is nowhere near as impressive as is the LOD.

This is why I love this sub...certain people have spent at least a couple months downplaying the performance of PS5 based solely on terraflops and numbers they don't even understand.

Now, its sure the PS5 would be able to do that, what are you all so excited about it's a multiplat engine.

So we're going to act like there aren't other engines out there that are based on unreal? Now it's oh that's cool but the Xbox is going to do that way better. But if that was truly the case, why didn't they use a XSX to showcase the capabilities of their new engine?

This was a marketing L for Xbox.

Either Xbox studios use this engine more than Sony does. And Xbox was doing a good job marketing until that lame ass Inside Xbox last week.

All this has shown is that Unreal Engine 5 looks a generation better than Unreal Engine 4. Its up to developers how they are going to utilize it.

This demo has also shown that its not how powerful the hardware but what can be done to make the most of graphical leaps.
The more powerful next gen console showed games that looked like they prettier current gen titles. Or running on a better spec PC. This tech demo running on the lesser spec console looked better. It'll be interesting to see how the engine scales between the Xbox and PS5

I wasn't talking about exclusive games, I was referring to the graphics on the ps5.

That and I had to throw shots at Xbox.
