Honestly if it was open source I would probably abandon android and jump on the apple bandwagon. Most ppl don't see to realize how much more you can do with android, but I can't blame because not all ppl are "power users" like you said and for the average "business man" or everyday web surfer I guess Apple is the route to go

so transferring, extra storage, side loading...basically media management...itunes works just fine.
tethering can be done on iOS. customization has no practical use

Are you talking about a jailbroken Ios device? Cuz none of that can be done without jailbraking (extra storage???). I can't simply drag and drop my music to my phone like any mp3 device I've used since they came out? If I can't plug my phone into any damn pc I'm around and do what I need to do, then I don't want it. It's all opinion though I guess .....more user friendly, yes....anything else, naw

what does open source amount to? what can you do with your tablet away from a computer and the internet?
i have an android tablet and the only thing i do with it is consume content. i browse the net, i watch movies, i listen to music, i read ebooks. what else is there? games?

I'm a programmer and a musician. when its time to do any serious work I'm on my macbook or my iPad.

the point of the site is to show you an entire culture and market dedicated to just one thing android has never been able to do. often without being connected to a computer and off the grid.

Havent touched a computer in years. I can do everything on Android. Only thing I might need a computer for rooting. Even then there's a way to do without a comp. Apple is trash.
