Even kojima knows going multiplatform is the way as soon as he got the rights back a Xbox version dropped. Meaning it's been around and ready.

It says he owns them already so they are probably all timed exclusives or maybe he always had a means of buying the ip back after a certain date.
kojima truly is the finesse god. It explains why the movie he’s doing is with A24 and not Sony Pictures
