If it's not practical then why is 4K a major selling point for both these garbage consoles?

I don't know what MS new flabbox is doing but upscaled 4k is not 4k...SONY dropped the ball with this annoucement and there is no defending it...

They still have a far better library of games then their competitor though but I dont see folk running out to cop a pro for upscaled graphics when the 4 can play the same games...SONY really shot themselves in the foot...

On top of this, why didn't they sell the benefits of the console for 1080p owners more?

Waiting for a patch from devs to reap the benefits of getting this upgraded model is not what's up. Even the interviews after the showing were trash. All they talked about were HDR and 4Kinda resolutions.

Will 1080p/60fps be the standard on Pro? That's the shyt people want to know who aren't in the 4K market

All I want to know is how they going to do HDR for PS4 users without the right HDMI ports for that ability are they lying to the consumers

Console should be marketed as a 1080p system with 4k media content options. Im not even venturing down 4k on PC anytime soon and im fine with 1080p 144hz. If they focused on that more people would be excited but so far this is a dud to me.
