Nah papi, 3 million to do a movie for someone like Kevin Hart is pennies. That's D list actor salary

It's business Kev made a offer. It's up to them to accept or negotiate
3 million is D-list actor money?

:usure::comeon:

I'll grant you that it's probably a negotiating ploy.

:ehh:

Scott Rudin Apologizes After Leak Of Sony’s Hacked Racially Insensitive E-Mails On Barack Obama

EXCLUSIVE: Producer Scott Rudin has issued a public apology for the racially insensitive comments that surfaced last night in an exchange of hacked private e-mails between him and Sony Pictures Entertainment chairman Amy Pascal. Joking references they made to black-themed films that President Barack Obama might like were not meant for public consumption, but they are hard to defend in the harsh light of a public forum, without context. Rudin made the point in this morning’s New York Times about this hacking breach was a criminal act, when he was asked about other hacked e-mails between the producer and Pascal referencing the movie on Apple’s Steve Jobs. Here, Rudin said he simply wanted to apologize.

“Private emails between friends and colleagues written in haste and without much thought or sensitivity, even when the content of them is meant to be in jest, can result in offense where none was intended,” he told Deadline. “I made a series of remarks that were meant only to be funny, but in the cold light of day, they are in fact thoughtless and insensitive — and not funny at all. To anybody I’ve offended, I’m profoundly and deeply sorry, and I regret and apologize for any injury they might have caused.”

It must be an awkward thing for Rudin or anyone to be called to account for years-old private e-mails, when everyone in Hollywood uses this form of communication for its expediency. It is an intense business, and back and forth can be bracing and the language rough, even though it is a shorthand between creatives and executives who’ve been in the trenches together and still have a drink when the movie makes it to the premiere.

I don’t think this will be the last time someone will be moved to apologize, as this Sony episode grows to become one of the most serious cyber breaches in corporate history. It will certainly change the way people communicate with each other.

Pascal apologized Also.

Sony Pictures co-chairman Amy Pascal has apologized for racially insensitive remarks made by her and producer Scott Rudin about President Obama in a series of stolen emails that were published online Thursday.

“The content of my emails were insensitive and inappropriate but are not an accurate reflection of who I am,” she said in a statement, adding that “although this was a private communication that was stolen, I accept full responsibility for what I wrote and apologize to everyone who was offended.”

Buzzfeed published a story late Thursday containing personal emails in which Pascal and “The Social Network” producer Scott Rudin joked about Obama’s favorite movies, suggesting he would prefer those about African Americans.

“Would he like to finance some movies,” responded Rudin, when Pascal sought his advice on what she should say to the President at a Hollywood fundraiser.

“I doubt it. Should I ask him if he liked DJANGO?” said Pascal, with Rudin replying “12 YEARS.”

“Or the butler. Or think like a man?” continued Pascal, who is a major donor for the Democratic party and President Obama.

“Ride-along. I bet he likes Kevin Hart,” said Rudin.

Rudin apologized two hours earlier for the comments Thursday in a piece on Deadline, calling them “thoughtless and insensitive — and not funny at all.”

Pascal’s other published email exchanges with producers and other Sony executives include derisive remarks about top talent such as Kevin Hart, Angelina Jolie and Adam Sandler.

Hart is an idiot for not tweeting about his own movie. The more people see it, the more you make, and you don't even have to spend money or much time to do it.

Why wouldn't he do that? :mindblown:

What? Think Like A Man Too is his movie. He was the main attraction

:patrice:The article is poorly written, I don't think he earns the rights to the movie..

The article is saying he (Kev) owns the movie but is giving the impression that it's Sony's.

Who's saying they didn't hack a bunch of different corporations and this is just the beginning of the end for corporate America's digital privacy? :sas1:
