The PC ports didn't do what Sony intended and likely never will achieve that. Sony is about their own ecosystem first and all their actions are to boost that. People who game on PC and haven't bought a PS5 aren't going to because Sony ports years old games. They also aren't interested in paying high prices for old games.Once Sony see how much project helix and the steam machine won’t move the needle in the console space. And once the realize how much a good chunk of their first party is irrelevant also.

I’d also buy games on PC over PS5 if given the chance. Way more flexibility to play the game how I want. The PC ports don't perform well because the games are old. Most of us have a PS5 and have already played them by the time they comes to PC.
If they want to sell more they should release the PC port at the same time. Helldivers 2 proves this works. I'd buy on Steam over PS5 if given the chance because of the Steamdeck.
The main reason is alot PC gamers have consoles. That’s the main reason whyThe PC ports didn't do what Sony intended and likely never will achieve that. Don’t nobody give a fukk about PS gamesThat’s what they miss, most people that like Sonys games already have ps5’s, that’s why spider man 2’s sales are mediocre on pc, because it already sold 15 million copies before they ported it snd it’s still selling with new ps5’s
I bet the vast majority of their pc sales are from double dippers or places like China
