That "3D" audio doesn't sound any different than what the Golds do. They both run 7.1, the Golds use the word surround sound rather than 3D

Sony did good with their headphone functionality. I wish the quality was better. Still for the $100 - $150 range you'd be hard pressed to find a pair that are truly wireless like these.

The ear cups on my golds started peeling out of nowhere. I never even use them so I was like

My white golds havent broken or peeled.
I've had them for about 2 years now. Use them often and have no issues with them at all.
I baby the hell out of them though off the strength of everyone saying they break easily.
