TYRONE GA!
Over 50 percent of steam users have rigs that run worse than a base PS5.... :francis: :sas1: :camby:
But you're trying to convince console gamers to switch to PC right? Which means a majority of them don't have a PC setup already. So again they'll spending over 2k for something that a PS5 pro can do almost similarly for $750. You don't have to worry about updates bricking the game, no going into the BIOS to update drivers. You just turn it on and it works. Lol

Oh my goodness. I just playing Dragon's Dogma 2, wow PSSR 2.0 did really good job. Huge difference from what I remember play DD2 before PSSR 2.0.

:salute: PS5 Pro PSSR 2.0

People who said they don't need a PS5 Pro gonna miss out for sure but I bet they gonna change their minds when GTA 6 drop

Ok this is WILD :ohlawd:

I tested out a handful of games and it’s incredible. Legit feels like I’m playing cgi pixar games in many cases

The biggest difference I noticed is the fps increase. A lot of games I remember constantly switching from performance to graphics mode all the time and not being satisfied. Before with VRR you would get high fps and shytty graphics or great graphics and 30-40 fps.

Games like spiderman 2 , ratchet and clank, apex legends it feels like 100fps on fidelity/balanced mode. There is no more sacrificing graphics for higher fps with VRR. Spider-Man 2 on fidelity pro mode legit feels like 100 fps

The games feel much snappier and responsive. No way it is 60 fps feels like 80-100 I’m guessing with NO loss on graphics

Final fantasy rebirth plays MUCH faster and snappier. Feels like 100 fps

Harry Potter and dragons dogma feel like completely different games. The graphics look much smoother and rounded out it’s like a movie

A lot of games I’m going to have to replay they feel completely different ( dragons dogma 2 most notably)

God of war ragnarok looks insane, not a huge difference in demons souls but you can tell draw distance and graphics much cleaner

I read a comment that said the performance now is like what you see on a high end pc for the Sony releases which I agree with. Can’t wait for more games to use this it really is a game changer

So to be clear... When you say you don't need to sacrifice graphics... Are you playing these games on graphics mode and hitting these FPS? Or are you playing on performance mode and the graphics are bumped up?

It depends on the game really, as it can go in either direction depending on how the game is designed. Either which way tho, it leaves very little room for disappointment on both fronts once you've selected the right one for the game.

less than 10 percent of the people on the planet who have a ps5 have a ps5 pro

what is the fukking purpose of this niche ass utility again?

Again shows why PC gaming is goateed and will put these console makers out of business.

Sony have been setting records the last 3-4 years and the majority of pc gamers (according to steam) are stuck in 1080p land so :camby:

And lmao at the other shyt you typed like just buy a graphics cards, nah that's not how it works if you're in 1080p land.

New mobo, new ram, new powersupply, maybe new case, maybe upgrade fans/cooling system, so foh

:mjlol:That's exactly the purpose, it's a niche product. It's not for you. It's like saying less than 10 percent of the people on the planet who have a PC own a RTX 5090, "What is the fukking purpose of this niceh ass card again?" Consoles aren't going anywhere, PS5 just sold 92 million units so far, that's far from going away. GTA 6 about to skyrocket sales too later this year.

It's the silliest argument that they keep making. Because they don't have it or want it they question why anyone else is purchasing it. If we had his mindset we would never have cars because a horse and carriage works just fine too lol

the whole point is that you are enabling shytty business practices.

So you have never upgraded your phone do you still use a beeper? You're still in the house with a TV with the big ass back? You still use florescent bulbs instead of LED? Do you still use a gas oven? You sound like an old head hating on technology advancement lol

I believe it’s anything with uncapped vrr

I’m waiting for official testing but Harry Potter on balanced mode and spiderman 2 fidelity pro with uncapped vrr felt a whole lot faster to me. Where as before they felt slow in graphics mode. All performance modes have graphics increase to almost native 4k

I’ve read conflicting stuff some saying pssr only affecting graphics but a lot of comments saying they notice fps increases

Either way ps5 pro is now giving you the same graphics that you would see on a high end pc.

I think games that have a dedicated pro/balanced mode like god of war with uncapped vrr options are going to look and play the best
