It does die quickly probably from the bass impact the equivalent of cell vibration x10. I also have the Sony headset that dropped before the pulse while one is charging the other getting that work.

the only thing that sucks is it only does surround sound on ps3 games, doesnt work on blurays or netflix

Umm...IIRC, I'm pretty sure the surround sound works on blu rays.

my bad they updated it to work with blurays, it originally didnt.
still no netflix though
