Sony Puts Kill-zone Co-op Mode Behind $20 DLC Paywall

Judging by the comments on the first page, I can see that the thread title was executed perfectly. Now let's shyt on this abuse for survival co-op mode being charged for but ignore the fact that all of the multiplayer maps for the game will be given away for FREE.

If they had said the game had co OP when they revealed it & made it seem like it was gonna be on disc, then yeah I'd be mad... But they're basically saying there's an extra mode you can buy if you want

& free maps > free co op

I can tell you trash at shooters for such a stupid ass leap of logic like that.Free DLC maps in Multiplayer shooters are generally trash because they're half ass worked when it come to man hours. In my life time of shooters with free DLC maps i can only remember a few that was worth it.

Is it really abuse when they've already came out and said all of the multiplayer maps will be free?

They made a decision with this. Give away free maps so people will continue to play the multi longer, or make the Horde mode extra for a fee. That's a better option than splitting up the multiplayer community every time new maps are released is it not?

What game's Horde mode are you referring to? Sure as hell isn't Gears. The popularity of it has me at times, especially in Judgement.

Let's see how much content the mode offers before whining about having to pay a little extra. Again, they never even advertised co OP for the game so who exactly are they screwing over?

the last few years every major shooter has had a free non local co-op mode. even BF3

Guerilla is coming up with a different approach for their DLC. That's all this is. I'm sure they looked at the numbers from other games and what people actually play more when the came to this conclusion. And I'll continue to say this... it's more valuable for them to ensure that everybody has all of the maps available to play for the longevity of the multiplayer's sake than it is to have a Horde mode that most hardcore players will play a few times and go right back to the multiplayer.
