Ain’t no way the PS6 is going to be priced around the Switch 2. It’s going to be either same price as the pro or more. Sony doesn’t need to be competitive here as long as it’s cheaper than a PC it’s going to be an expensive console and people will pay for it.

they know the mistake they made with the PS3 pricing and have reiterated it MANY times. I don't see that happening twice even with "no competition". They wanna be able to sell these things. Both Pro consoles these past 2 gens are niche products, not the staple systems and it's designed that way.

I thought the AMD stuff pointed to PS6 being a cheaper console / marginal upgrade.

Yall don’t get it. Even if they launch at 699 people will still buy it people were paying that price and even more with scalpers when the PS5 launched. They are now the only flagship console and now Xbox nikkas will be split to pc or ps6. Either way they are selling.
