Exactly...all we see are a bunch of intentional and unintentional misinterpretations of this statement.

You stan’s set the STANdard based on whatever sony is doing in the moment.

When they weren’t porting their games yall said they would NEVER do it cause console sales was too important.

Then they started porting games and yall said “well that’s just the B tier games nobody cares about”

Then they started porting games like spiderman and yall said “well its only games that have been out for like 5 years”

Then they started day oneing games like helldivers and yall said “well that’s just gaas”

Now we all the way down to spiderman 2 being announced for PC less than a year after it came out and helldivers (and other sony published games coming to xbox) and your story is “well until its All single player games day one, nothing has changed”

fukk outa here :mjlol:

Nobody said it was all games coming day one, that’s a strawman STANdard yell made up so you can argue against it.

The point is, sony is making great steps and spending lots of money on becoming a multiplatform publisher. That may not mean it’s all games day one, but they are clearly moving toward a future that’s much less about exclusive content on their platform.

Thats it, all the rest yall talmbout is just cope and avoidance of the inevitable.
You must have been the guy cheering Jordan on when he went to play baseball. Nobody gives a fukk about Jordan playing baseball when he’s good at basketball.

It’s not being a Stan to say if it isn’t what they do best being equal on all platforms who really cares. The primary customers treated the best are on their hardware and the rest are lessers who get served later or not at all.

Helldivers it’s what they’ve done best this gen.

It launched day one on PC and came to xbox within about a year.

Their “primary” customers didn’t buy Astrobot which literally and specifically exist for their biggest fans.

Doesn’t take an insider to know which way sonys future investments will lean.

You stan’s have a difficulty with reality, you pretend the Astrobot buyer is a reflection of the entire industry. They are not.

When it makes more sense to do what you’re describing they’ll do it. Until then they’ll continue with the strategy they have. I’m not a Stan and will lose no sleep over them going fully multi-platform if they pick that route.

How deep you guys are in this console war shyt :mjlol:

Tbh it makes me wonder if Sony wanted to create something like Steam, but it was basically impossible.

I do like how it gives gamers options. Some brehs just like the convenience of consoles. PS5 is still good for that, and with Xbox coming to PlayStation, PS5 is the optimal way to game on consoles. Of course, at this point, if you are fine with waiting for the Sony exclusives to drop on PC, it is obviously the optimal approach. PC will get you performance you won't on PS5. Obviously you would need to spend more.

The only uncertainty is how these PC ports are optimized. Not too familiar with them.

To clarify Mr.Critic, once that tweet dropped people speculated on both sides, yourself included.
And the side you rep is how you carried it without knowing the truth. But the same tweet was later followed with the translation during the Japanese version of this meeting and it was made clear that he was specifically talking about the Playstation division when he made that statement.
Its the very next tweet he makes, so respectfully gu gu gu gu get d fukk up outta hurr, dis Greenerside turf now :boss:

Is Horizon Adventures that good? And Gamepass along with the hybrid console meaning whenever someone says I got PC so I can still play
That's what Xbox does, so no reason to not get an Xbox. Meanwhile, Sony agrees :umad:
Pc nikkas doing the most console warring these days :laff:
Hybrid Box Gang don't have Dem problems :smoker:

I don't see anything wrong with that. The cost to develop games has risen and you can't rely on just 1 platform to support the budget needed for AAA games. Call me crazy, but I don't think sony will drop a significant amount of sales if they go with 4-12 month window for other platform ports. People will still buy a PS6 and beyond because it's the go to system for high end console experience. I think people always sleep on the fact that majority of people that purchase consoles for the social aspect when playing live service games. As long as Sony can provide that they will still move a lot of units. Majority of gamers aren't ready to move to PC and many aren't that into gaming to spend double the price of a Playstation console to game on PC

You entire post here contradicts the topic which is being misinterpreted by Sony faithfuls. Sony has repeatedly said they are moving away from hardware. Your post speaks like the opposite of that so I have to call bulshyt on what you said. All 3 console makers make profits. Sony doesn't make more than Nintendo so people only really care if it sold more than Xbox. Xbox sees what PC makes because worldwide PC makes console gaming look like a joke at best. All 3 combined can't compare to PC and Microsoft peeped this first and tested the waters, got the results.

Sony fans, didn't wukong sell 10 million in 3 days?

The time of "people don't want to be bothered with PC" is false. PCs was not standard in houses until the 2000s. Any kid with access to game be it PC or.... fukkin via Tubi :yeshrug: there's a gaming section on my Vizio TV my kids found and play sometimes. That barrier isn't the same for this generation and upgrading a PC is not hard at all

Regardless we're in the streaming future now and PC has the largest amount of users so that's where the industry is going regardless o if you're on board or not. I'm a console gamer, been one since the early 80s. So I'm not saying this because I'm a PC head. I hate sifting thru all these crappy pc games to find a good console game but that's how it is on Xbox
