this is the system they wanted to make, just because they focused on more than just graphics because they know pcs can and will surpass them easily in a few years.

I'm glad the PS4 isn't a worldwide release 
We've still gotta wait 2 more weeks to get it here in the UK, so hopefully the majority of the network kinks have been ironed out by then. I know for a fact that I'll definitely do my update via USB now. I'm not taking any chances.
I'm a bit worried though since I pre-ordered mine from Amazon

lol at yall buying into the overhype...the majority of the systems working fine, but that aint gonna get you headlines, hits on the net, etc....so the most sensational one that gets news...in this case: systems are bricking...just like people getting got for they shyts..the majority didnt, but all you need is one and the headlines will read: 'people getting robbed for video game systems, what has the world come to' or some shyt like that...
anyway, from what i'm seeing, most of that shyt people complaining about is either user error or the psn getting hammered...which is what happened to me: couldn't get on the psn (at least on ps4), so I said fukk it and try later...tried later, i'm gaming like a muthafukka now....
