Sony: The Future For The PS Vita Remains Unclear

The vita is probably the thing I enjoy playing the most out if all the shyt I own.

The software(os) is miles ahead of ps3/ps4, it's the definition of pick up and play. Love being able to suspend and resume any game, at any time, and cons back to the exact spot I left it at.

The multi tasking us clutch as fukk when I'm playing a game and need to figure out wtf to do next. Can just suspend thegame, open up web browser and search real quick. Smooth as shyt.

Add in the fact that I bought the damn thing for 120, own around 10 games for it but only paid for one (and that was MGS for 10 bucks). I'd say the vita is worth it for ps plus alone.

Great post, agree 100%. Blows my mind that there are gamers out there, specifically playstation loyalists, that dont have one.

I'm loving my Vita at the moment. I can just turn off my TV and play my PS4 with it.

Its funny how every convention comes around and people talk about the Vita as if it isn't a dead product. They ask the same questions like why didn't Sony show anything for the Vita at show x? Playing dumb about it won't bring a failed product back from the dead.

Crazy how successful the PSP was (and they still didn't reach the max success they could've gotten) relatively. PSP was so far ahead of the DS as a gaming system but could also do other shyt better (watching videos mainly)

3DS has such a wide niche of first party titles and weird apps that they could just cruise off of that, plus Sony had some piss poor marketing for this thing. Not once in my life have I ever seen a standalone Vita commercial. shyt should've just been released in Japan.

case in pt. picked up my vita last night to try out dragon crown, downloaded that and while it was downloaded, started playing super stardusk, swap over to DC when its done and started playing that. Mid way through the game im like "fukk it, i wanna see what that P.T. about" so i suspend DC and remote in to my ps4 and que up the P.T. download, and played DC until the donwload was finished.

Worst thing about the vita is the fact they put L and R 2 as invisible TOUCHPADS on the BACK OF THE VITA I could see small buttons on the back of the vita or small triggers but TOUCHPADS!?!??!!?! Makes playing any game where L and R 2 are staple buttons IMPOSSIBLE! I basically use it to play my playstation 3 games via remote play, most of which dont have r2 and l2 as required gameplay buttons. They really dropped the ball on the design.Great for rpgs and games with simple mechanics, Pointless for FPS and complex controlled games.

They need a redesign with triggers. Call it the Elite model.

The Vita is such a great system for me. For example I have 3 trips to make this month...that's about 4 weeks of traveling all over the place?

What will I take with me? Laptop, phones, and of course the VITA

It has a large library even if many of the games are old (They aren't old if you never played them) and with plenty of indies and counterspy coming out? I am not sure why so many people are complaining
