Sony has a good amount of casual gamers that play on playstation. The whole selling point of playstation is being able to play their exclusives that cannot be played anywhere else other than pc at some point with pc gaming being expensive and not as convenient sometimes having to wait a year or years to play a game exclusive to playstation. A switch 2 would be a reasonable option for those casual gamers, since the switch 2 can also be played docked, with worser specs yet the casual gamers won't be as bothered. The casual gamers are already playing games built on the ps4 years into this generation on the ps5 due to cross gen. The switch 2 would also still have exclusives compared to a playstation with no exclusives. Sony also doesn't know whether or not there will be another xbox. Any of their games go on there and it's a rap.The Switch 2 can take some of the casual base but Sony has more hardcore gamers that play games consistently and locked in. The Switch 2’s online capabilities still don’t match Sony’s. And tbh it’s more simplistic getting online than PC. So Sony will dominate because they are the only option strictly for stationary gaming. As long as Sony consoles are the cheaper option over PC they will be fine.

Following Microsoft into 3rd party will be PlayStation's downfall.
Microsoft can survive without Xbox. Sony without PlayStation?

Spiderman, God of War, Uncharted, Horizon, etc.Honestly there first party aren’t even where they make the most money on now. GAAS is there biggest are where they make their most revenue like this year. This is basically what shot the PS5 being the most profitable console out of all the consoles Sony has released. It’s like 50 percent of their Revenue in gaming. Now Nintendo makes money of their exclusives so it’s a little bit different. No Sony first party title is putting numbers up like over 20 million like Mario, Pokémon and Zelda.
Spiderman, God of War, Horizon, etc.
They’re saying some Sony exclusives are coming to the switch 2.
Spiderman, Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Uncharted 4 along with some others have already sold or surpassed 20 million. God of War Ragnarok, Spiderman 2 along with some others are on pace to sell or surpass 20 million. Those numbers you posted are from a while ago so the sales numbers possibly surpassed 20 million. The rest that have sold not 20 million sold millions or surpassed 10 million. You said no Sony 1st party game has sold over 20 million which is not true.God of war -15 million
Spider Man -11 million
Horizon Forbidden West - 8.4 million.
Plus these three games cost way more to make than Nintendo’s.
Consoles don't matter again
