I mean people moved on. You might be giddy to get something someone else played with like a year ago and moved on to other things but they don’t care.

The word multiplatform means more than 1 platform. PS5 and PC are multiplatform. Again show me someone at PlayStation outside of Bungie directly saying their games are coming to Xbox or Switch. You can't because it doesn't exist. It should be fairly easy to fine one of the many different developer studios or executives at Sony naming Xbox since you suggest that's in the plans. It would be front page news anywhere.

You can pay $1,000 for a PS6 or your can buy a controller and hop on Gamepass... no console needed.

As mobile chips get stronger this makes sense. The Phone chip in the 16 and 16pro are about as powerful as a ps4. Apple is rumored to put these new chips in the next Apple TV why wouldn't Sony and Microsoft try and get into that market?

So this basically confirms that Marvel Tokon will be on the Xbox and Switch 2. Well at least Sony stans will have an exclusive fight stick.

we were always headed this way once crossplay became an accepted standard for the biggest titles.

With stuff like GTA Online, CoD, Fortnite etc essentially becoming their own platforms the big companies are fighting over a smaller piece of the pie than they were 20 years ago.

I still think it's probably safe to assume Sony thawing a bit on hard line exclusivity. GAAS games coming later to xbox if they make sense. More stuff like Lego Horizon, smaller spin offs games can come to Switch, etc
