Your HDTV can go out, just like your intenet can. Poor kids in Timbuktu and soldiers on submarines don't have HDTV. What if you travel? A lot of hotels still don't have HDTV's.

Eventually HDTV's will not have anolog inputs anymore, then how are you gonna play your sega and Nintendo that you don't really have :stopitslime:

Poor kids in Timbuktu don't need a Ps4. And cats on Submarines if capable would have an HDTV I'm the break room just like internet and computers and phones.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Nope. The Internet is more widespread than HDTVs, And not having it is "obsolete"
Son I work in the field..smh...nikka they barely even making HDTVs with standard composite ports anymore...most TVs no matter how high in class only come with one component and composite shareable port..Internet tho?..there's plenty people out there who don't wanna pay monthly for cable or internet cause they can care less about those features and use their phones for everything...people who work in the computer field who don't even have a PC at home...Internet service has always been a choice..and still is..TV tho?..u can't stop physical technology from moving on...period..SD Is about to be obsolete fam..

However, as seen in the image above, the console has no connections for component or composite cables, bucking the current-gen trend for TV connectivity

A/V Hookups: HDMI input and output (4K support)

I rarely get involved in these Stan War threads anymore but this is pathetic

NEITHER Next Gen console supports Component or Composite (both are HDMI only) In 2013 most have an HDTV of some capacity in the house.

This thread reminds me of the people on Cable/Satellite forums up in arms over the TV providers chipping away at SD and gradually making them move to HD (when they should've already)

Keep in mind those people hanging on to SD are the minority and the majority would like SD to gradually be replaced to make room for more HD and free up resources that could be used around HDTV

With all the graphical enhancements coming next gen, why the hell would you want to play either system on an SDTV?

Instead of everybody talkin bout, oh but what about poor kids in zimbabwe that don't have a HDTV. Lemme see a show of hands of who's actually getting effected by this. Not how its gonna effect your cousin or some kid in the hood thats not fortunate enough to have a HDTV.
