I explained it, if that shyt is true, he's an idiot. When you sign your PSN account into another PS4 (people do this to share their games on another ps4), it will ask you to activate/deactivate one of the PS4s as the primary.
Y'all made that up though. There's nothing in that story to indicate that's what he did.

That's what I'm assuming happened in this case.... It's what happened in the destiny case where everyone was screaming that bungie should be held responsible and give the kid his level 32 characters back with all the weapons and armor... That's on the psn user... Not Sony or bungie... The destiny kid tried to cheat with his 3rd character because some stranger told him he had a way of instantly leveling up his character to 32 in a matter of minutes... You just gotta give me control of your game... So the kid gave a random person control of his game and the guy deleted his shyt.
Just like in this case... It says he was "hacked" yet we don't know the actual facts of what happened. If it's an actual "hack" then Sony should be responsible... If dude have access of his to someone else and got burned

Yeah there is. The dude clearly says he doesn't know which PS4 it is that got activated.
If he logged into a friends PS4 of shared his password he would be going after a friend or the person he shared with.
This is a totally made up theory by y'all. Its not the first time someone has had their PSN account hacked.
If homie had his password legit hacked/phished then they need to give him his money back. If he's not telling whole story (which could very well be true), then that's on him. Take the games away from his account that were bought fraudulently and give him his money back. Period.

It's a theory that I threw out there because everyone was going after Bungie's heads after the Destiny user lost all of his characters and Bungie told him "there's nothing we can do about it"... Then the actual truth came out that he gave control of his game to someone else... So yeah... you can't just take people at their words. Otherwise I hear Xbox One is the best selling console ever....

This has nothing to do with bungie or that other guy. And in that story dude was up front about the fact that he was using share play. At least that's how I remember it.And beyond that, this is actual cash that was taken from dude, it doesn't hurt Sony to give it back. In the other case I'm not even sure there's something bungie could do to fix it.

It's the same premise though... If he gave control of his system to some stranger for a reason and that stranger did all of this then that is on the PSN user... not Sony.... I've already said if its a legit hack then Sony should refund him.. but if its found that he gave control of his system to someone else... thats on him... not sony
If share play allows other people to steal your account info then that's Sony's fault too.

You don't give out your info for share play. That's the point. You are supposed to be able to securely share your games.
