Tremendous song.

low key the beautiful cut off 'Talking Book' is 'I Believe When I fall In Love (It Will Be Forever))'

MY nikka +rep. It's the last song on the album too, perfect way to end it. Leaves you sitting there like :wow:

in all honesty, Stevie is the only remaining OLD school Black star.

Marvin, MJ, Ray Charles, Teddy, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Womack....all gone.

There might be a few women left(Aretha, Gladys), but the men are pretty much all gone.

Watching Pops Staples was one a joy of mine. Certain cats were just cool.

Yep... was a hit in late-'87. video was kinda deep for its time too...

Skeletons was hot.

But the funniest thing about the song was that Stevie was caught up in the strange quagmire of being too crossover for black radio and too black for pop radio during that period.

Also, let's not forget that MTV special in 1988. He was trying to get that crossover audience back by any means.

To me , it was sad because I felt like that Stevie needed MTV more than MTV needed Stevie.
